Lynny Lenses are creative effects, selective focus lenses for SLR and digital SLR (DSLR) cameras. They make artistic effects that are created in camera, for the creative photographer who wants more out of their photography than what standard SLR/DSLR camera lenses can do for them. It also allows for external lenses to be screwed on, for example, a wide angle lens, and a telephoto lens, which completely change the effects the lens produces.
Is it possible to adjust the aperture size?
Actually, yes, you can. Though it is a fixed aperture by itself, you can change the aperture.....We are working on new interchangeable aperture accessories which will likely be available when we release the new lenses
Lynnys work on the following SLR/DSLR camera bodies...
Nikon F, Canon EF (EOS), Sony Alpha A, Sony Nex, Minolta Maxxum, Nikon 1, Canon EOS-M, Pentax K, Olympus 4/3, Olympus Micro 4/3, Panasonic Micro 4/3, Samsung NX, Pentax P/Q, FujiFilm F/FX, Fujica X, Mamiya, Praktica, Sigma SD/SA, Contax, Yashica, Leica M, Arri PL - Any other SLR/DSLR body that uses M42 adapters.
Can I attach bigger accessories to the front threads?
Yes! Of course! You just need to buy a step up ring, which you will screw into the threads on the front of the lens and then screw on accessories on top of that step up ring. Also on our lenses, Rota and Verta, they use 2 individual filter threads, an internal 37mm ring and a 58mm external ring.
Do Lynnys have any automatic features?
No, Lynnys are pure manual, which makes them even more fun to play with.
Is this the same thing as Lensbabies?
While Lynny Lenses and Lensbaby both similarly offer a cheap tilt shift lens alternative, our lenses differ in the effects they produce, as well as the build of the lenses, features, functionalities, and extensibility.
